At Aging Advocacy, I provide compassionate guidance, education, and support to older adults and their families as they navigate the challenges of aging, illness and life transitions. With experience, dedication, and a personalized approach, I help clients make informed decisions while coordinating care, navigating healthcare systems, and planning for changing needs with clarity and confidence.
I understand that these situations can feel overwhelming for both individuals and families. My role is to provide thoughtful advocacy, practical solutions, and steady support-while helping preserve dignity, independence and quality of life. For ling distance families, I offer compassionate oversight and communication to ensure loved ones are supported and care for, even from afar.
Through every stage of the journey, my goal is to bring reassurance, peace of mind, and trusted support so clients and families feel heard, respected and never alone.
About Kathy Carchidi
With over 25 years of experience as a social worker, healthcare advocate and care manager, I have had the privilege of supporting older adults and families through many of life’s transitions and challenges. My goal is to ensure clients feel genuinely supported—knowing they have someone in their corner providing guidance, education, advocacy, and compassionate care every step of the way.
One of my proudest accomplishments was co-founding San Clemente Village, part of the nationwide Village Movement, helping older adults remain connected, engaged and independent with the support of dedicated volunteers. I also spent eight years, leading community and caregiver programs at Alzheimer’s Orange County and served on the Orange County Veterans and Military Families Collaborative, advocating for the well-being of older adult veterans and their families.
As a Certified End-of-Life Planner, it is my privilege to provide comfort, clarity and thoughtful support during some of life’s most important moments.
